Welcome
Meet the Staff

Mark Jenkins
Manager
Mark Jenkins was ordained in the Wesleyan Church and has been in ministry for 14 years. In November of 2010, after working in the local church as youth leader, assistant pastor and solo pastor, he moved to Floyd, Iowa to lead the ministry at Cedar Springs Camp. He has been married to his “partner in ministry,” Theresa, for 25 years and they have 4 children. His passion is to see people grow in their walk with Christ. “My desire is for people to go beyond the average person’s faith and experience a personal relationship with the Risen Christ.”

Theresa Jenkins
Marketing & Hospitality
After 30 years in the banking industry Theresa has retired to work in ministry full time. Managing a husband and four kids is enough for anyone, but she enjoys the challenge and the joy camp ministry has to offer. Theresa is gifted in administration, organization, music and service and feels this is the best place to use these gifts.

Gayl
Kitchen Supervisor
I have been working at Cedar Springs Camp for 10 years. I feel God called me here and there was a need for kitchen workers. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 8. I enjoy a variety of crafts. I am a Christian who enjoys family time. Cedar Springs Camp brings me joy and inspiration.

John
Maintenance Crew
I am no stranger to this camp, in fact I live here! My name is John and I am the son of Mark & Theresa Jenkins. Born in La Porte City, Ia and recently moved here from Sioux City, Ia. I am happy to be living and working here. I was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma cancer in January 2010. I am currently taking treatments and continue to trust God for healing. Looking forward to a great year at camp!

Amanda
Cook
I will be joining the staff at Cedar Springs Camp for the second year in a row! After finishing my second year at UNI, I will take a break to join in on some summer fun!
